2021 Barbera

Barbera is believed to have originated from central Piemonte, Italy. This approachable and juicy wine starts off with the aromas of blackberry, vanilla, and cherry. It is rich, yet light-bodied and on the palate has fruity flavors of sour cherry, black currant, cranberry, and dried strawberry. The Light tannins and high acidity of this wine are responsible for its ‘juicy’ taste. 

California Barbera tends to be more full-bodied and fruit-forward than its Old-World, Italian counterpart.
